Introducing Emily Logsdon, Quality and Regulatory Manager

Emily Logsdon has joined PTG Silicones as our new Quality and Regulatory Manager. Emily received her Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Louisville and has over 15 years of valuable experience in the medical device, electronic interconnect, and automotive industries.

Her storied career has given Emily a wide breadth of expertise, including:

  • ISO 9001, 13485, 14001
  • ISO/TS 16949
  • EU MDD/MDR Regulations
  • MDSAP (Medical Device Single Audit Program)

In addition, Emily is certified by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Quality Engineer (CQE), Biomedical Auditor (CBA), and Quality Auditor (CQA).

She also holds the leading credential for regulatory professional in the healthcare product sector, a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) for Medical Devices from the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS).

With our new FSSC 22000 food packaging certification, we feel Emily is the ideal person to lead us to the next level of quality refinement as an industry leader in the manufacturing of silicone elastomer components and subassemblies. Although food packaging is a new avenue for Emily to explore, her preparedness and keen focus on the standards has us all confident of her success.
