PTG Silicones provides silicone rubber liquid flow control valve solutions for a variety of food packaging applications.  Our valves come in many shapes, sizes and slit geometries to handle liquid viscosities from 1 Centipoise (water) to 100,000 Centipoise (sour cream).  PTG Silicones has standard off-the-shelf valve solutions that will fit most common closure geometries.  We also have the engineering capabilities to design a custom liquid flow control valve solution based upon a customer’s specific application needs.  We have preproduction tooling, slitting and testing capabilities to optimize and test the valve’s flow rate, opening pressure, closing pressure and leak rate.  PTG is also a Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Level II compliant manufacturer (Scheduled certification by 2nd Quarter of 2018) and utilizes this quality standard to ensure the highest quality and consistency of the products we manufacture for our food packaging customers.
